President's Message

Greetings Everybody!

With an aim of providing a platform for education, Late Vaman Prabhakar Bhave, the very first freedom fighter -Late Vasudev Balawanta Phadake, and Late Laxman Narhar Indapurkar established “Maharashtra Education Society” in 1860. MES, with its historical tradition, is celebrating its glorious 160 years of success in 2019 – 2020. In the journey of 159 long years, MES has developed many platforms and offers a wide range of sources for their students, ranging from Pre-primary schools to institutes of higher education, and from Vocational Courses to Skill Development Programmes. MES has always strived to provide an up-to-date set of courses to its students. At present, over 40 thousand students are seeking knowledge from about 75 branches of the Maharashtra Education Society located in 7 districts over entire Maharashtra. MES aims to create more responsible citizens and better human beings and to not just limit the learning resources as a means of income. Through dedicated efforts of many years, MES has created students and personalities who have excelled in various fields of life.

Along with the academic courses, it’s important for students to maintain and explore their artistic interests too. Our country’s rich culture itself defines the importance of Art in Human life.

In today’s era, Art is not only the source of entertainment but also an inevitable source of knowledge and gives ample scope for professional opportunities as well. With our vast traditions of music and dance, we have earned a respectful perspective from other countries and have also been appreciated by the communities worldwide.

Taking this into account, Maharashtra Education Society has established MES College Of Performing Arts, for the students to experience inner peace and unbound happiness through the study of Indian Arts.

I am sure that the students learning in MES College Of Performing Arts will carve their own path of success in this artistic journey. All the very best for MES ‘s future endeavors!
